Using Gospel Tracts

"In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening do not withhold your hand; for you do not know which will prosper, either this or that, or whether both alike will be good."  Ecc. 11:6

Why?

The Holy Spirit can use short messages (see Jonah 3:4 & Acts 16:31)

The message doesn't change with your moods.

It can stay longer than you are able to.

Tracts can be well designed, carefully worded, going everywhere, thought provoking, circulating for years, meaningful, inexpensive, and effective.

How?

Personal ways; send them to relatives and friends along with birthday, anniversary, and special event cards.

Public ways; leave with a tip at a restaurant, send with timely payment of bills, or hand them out to people you meet everyday.

Prayerful ways; be in prayer and God will lead you!

I've heard testimonies how God has used the simple gospel tract to bring someone to Himself.  My favorite is when a young woman who was depressed and considering suicide was walking in a city park.  Her eyes lit on something in the grass, she picked it up, it was an invitation to a church service.  She attended that night and was thoroughly saved!  God used someone unknown to her, but now is a brother or sister in Christ.  Can He use you in the same way?
